1.      Kawasaki disease

(1)   診斷criteria

→持續高燒(>5天)，合併下列臨床症狀(5取4)

a.      雙側非化膿性結膜炎

b.      咽唇黏膜紅腫、strawberry tongue

c.       四肢水腫、脫皮

d.      Cervical lymphadenopathy

e.      軀幹出現疹子

(2)   臨床症狀：全身性發炎反應，要特別小心冠狀動脈病變→→MI

(3)   治療：IVIG、steroid

2.      Therapeutic Hypothermia in Deceased Organ Donors and Kidney-Graft Function

(1)   delayed graft function：移植後第一周內，接受腎臟者需要洗腎的狀況

(2)   研究設計

394位捐贈者(201203~201310)

→分成normothermia(36.5~37.5)和hypothermia(34~35)兩組

→primary outcome：出現delayed graft function

  Secondary outcome：safety outcome

(3)   結果：

→研究提早結束

→在mild hypothermia group：79人(28%)出現delayed graft function

  在normthermia group：112人(39%)出現delayed graft function

  Odds ration：0.62、95%信賴區間：0.43~0.92

  Mild hypothermia能夠減少delayed graft function出現的機率

3.      Antisense Inhibition of Apolipoprotein C-III in Patients with Hypertriglyceridemia

(1)   APO C-III是個重要的lipoprotein，由肝臟製造，出現於VLDL上

→能夠抑制lipoprotein lipase的作用：無法水解三酸甘油脂

→還可以抑制VLDL→LDL：使得VLDL無法被有效清除

→如果增加APOC-III在血漿的濃度，會使得TG-rich的脂蛋白↑(VLDL↑)

→ISIS 304801是個antisense oligonucleotide→抑制APOC-III的mRNA→抑制其製造→達到降低TG的效果

(2)   目前是phase 2 trial

(3)   Inclusion：TG level在350mg/dL~2000mg/dL的患者

(4)   分成兩組

a.      單用ISIS304801：57人→其中41人用ISIS304801，16人用placebo

b.      ISIS304801合併fibrate：28人→其中8人用placebo

c.       ISIS304801的劑量：100~300mg

(5)   結果

→使用ISIS304801能夠有效降低APO C-III的level

→能夠有效降低血中TG的量
